If you’re going for the glam look at the beach, a metallic bikini will give you the look that you want. These swimsuits are show-stopping numbers that are just as sexy as a string bikini. They will definitely set you apart from everyone else out there. You’ll be shining out among all the other girls on the beach. (The “scrunch bikini” style is my favorite metallic bikini!)
Of course, if you pay quite a bit of money for your swimsuit, you want to take good care of it. Here is a look at some important care tips to remember to keep your metallic bikini shining and looking incredible when you wear it.
First, make sure that you only wash the metallic bikini in cold water and this should be done by hand. You also need to make sure that the fabric cleanser you use is very gentle. One good option to try is Woolite. Just use a small amount and wash in the cool water for good results.
Although you don’t have to wash it each time that you use the metallic bikini, it is important that you at least rinse it out good after each time that you wear it if you don’t have the time to wash it. This is especially important if you have been in a pool with a lot of chlorine or you have been at the beach.
Bleach can actually melt through the swimsuit. Make sure you don’t use any bleach on your metallic bikini or you’ll have to buy a new one. If you stain the bikini, use some gentle soap and water right away to get the stain out.
If you need to dry the swimsuit, it is best to simply use a low or “no” heat setting. However, the best option is to merely allow it to air dry. This way your swimsuit doesn’t get damaged by the heat.
If you take good care of your metallic bikini, you’ll be able to protect this investment. Then you’ll be able to wear it out on the beach with confidence, knowing that it looks amazing and you look sexy.
